Shigeru Matsumoto joined the Aoyama Gakuin University faculty in 2008. He studied on Heiwa Nakajima Foundation Scholarship at North Carolina State University, where he earned his Ph.D. in economics. He also holds his Masters of Environmental Science from Tsukuba University. Before coming to Aoyama Gakuin University, he spent seven years on the faculty of Kansai University.
His research interest lies in the applied welfare economics, with particular focus on consumer behavior analysis. In recent years, he studies households' pro-environmental behaviors such as recycling and energy-saving practices as well as consumers' valuation on food attributes such as organic farming. He teaches courses on Environmental and Agricultural Economics at Aoyama Gakuin University.

Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota. The research areas include the economics of climate change, natural resource management, and energy policy. Prior to the current position, he worked in the Earth Institute at Columbia University as an Earth Institute Fellow; and as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He has held visiting faculty positions at the University of Minnesota, Hitotsubashi University, Keio University, and Waseda University. His publications include articles in Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, and Journal of International Economics. He has served as an editorial board member for several journals including Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Singapore Economic Review, and Environmental Economics and Policy Studies. His fields are environmental economics, resource economics, and energy economics.
Nicole Darnall is Associate Dean of Faculty Success and Strategic Partnerships in ASU's College of Global Futures and Associate Director and Professor of Management and Public Policy in ASU's School of Sustainability. She is co-founder of ASU’s Sustainable Purchasing Research Initiative and Distinguished Sustainability Scholar at the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability. Her research investigates different approaches to encourage organizations and individuals to behave more sustainably. She is an elected Fellow in the National Academy of Public Administration, an Abe Fellow, an Economic and Social Research Council and Social Science Research Council Collaborative Visiting Fellow, an Erasmus Mundus International Scholar, and Spanish Ministry of Education International Fellow. Professor Darnall has received the Academy of Management's Organizations and Natural Environment Best Paper Award. Her research on business-government collaborations received the Academy of Management Public and Nonprofit Management’s Best Journal Article Award, and her scholarship on environmental audits received the Decision Science Institute's Distinguished Paper Award. She has served as a senior editor of Production and Operations Management and associate editor of Business & Society and Organization and Environment. She is on the Editorial Review Board of Cambridge University Press, Public Administration Review, Business & Society, Organization & Environment, and Business Strategy and the Environment. She is a founding member of the Group of Organizations and Natural Environment (GRONEN), a network of European and North American scholars focused on organization sustainability. Prior to her career in academia she worked as an economist for the U.S. Forest Service.

Ken’ichi Matsumoto graduated from Graduate School of Information, Production, and Systems, Waseda University and Graduate School of Policy Studies, Kwansei Gakuin University. He is currently Associate Professor at Faculty of Economics, Toyo University. Before joining Nagasaki University, he was JSPS Research Fellow (DC2 and PD), Research Associate at the National Institute for Environmental Studies, Assistant Professor at the University of Shiga Prefecture, and Associate Professor at Nagasaki University.

Majah-Leah V. Ravago is Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Ateneo de Manila University. Her research interests include energy economics, economics of natural disasters, development economics and resource economics. She was the Program Director of the 2014–2018 USAID grant – Energy Policy and Development Program (EPDP). She served as the President of the Philippine Economic Society (PES) in 2018. She received the One UP Faculty Grant Award in Economics for Outstanding Research and Public Service in UP Diliman (2016-2018), when she was Assistant Professor at UP. In 2016, she was awarded the Outstanding Young Scientist (OYS) in the field of Economics by the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST). She earned her BS in Business Economics and MA in Economics from the University of the Philippines. She obtained her PhD in Economics from the University of Hawai‘i in 2012 under the East-West Center (EWC) Graduate Degree Fellowship Program.
